 Brenda Fassie South Africa's born songwriter, dancer and activist was born November 3, 1964 She underwent drug rehabilitation in 1995 after an overdose of cocaine. After rehab she she put the broken pieces together and released several solo albums including MEMEZA and MOMAKANJAM.   MEMEZA was the best selling album in Africa in 1998.and after that she was named THE COMEBACK QUEEN OF AFRICA, She was also dubbed THE MADONNA OF THE TOWNSHIPS by the time magazine in 2001. She later died on May 9, 2004.

 In the inklings informal group of writers included C.S Lewis and JRR Tolkien writer Lord of the rings  and university collogues that met in Oxford, Oxford shire, England in the 1930's and 40's. There were no rules, officers and agendas or formal elections, The inklings got it's name from a student literary club at oxford university when it ceased. The group met at a pub commonly known as " Bird and baby " where  they read aloud from their books and poems that were a work in progress, Lewis read  his works like Problem of pain, Out of the silent planet and The great divorce and miracles. Tolkien read chapters from his novel Lord of the rings, Members responded with vigorous critiques and suggestions. They were no mutual admiration society, praise for good work was unstinted but censure for bad work or not so good work was often brutally frank,
