ROBERT NESTA MARLEY'S INFLUENCE ON SOCIETY

 Bob Marley was born in 1945 in a small rural area Nine mile in Jamaica. His influence upon various population remains significant irrespective of color, race or creed, His unifying and revolutionary voice challenged racism and colonialism like in his songs ONE DROP, AFRICA UNITE, SMALL AXE AND RAT RACE, AND OTHERS. Between 1974 and 1980 gangs associated with the countries two political parties fighting for supremacy resulting in death, injury, and displacement of thousands of people. His music didn't exactly soothe tension single handedly, but Marley's ONE LOVE PEACE CONCERT IN KINGSTONE JAMAICA,  in 1978 was a defining moment in the conflict. The concert brought 16 reggae most popular musicians for a celebration of peace.  Jay-Z is a hip hop lover and a student of the genre, he lives by the notion DIE ENORMOUSLY INSTEAD OF LIVE DORMANTLY. He has turned the outlines of hardscrabble existence into itinerary of artistic triumph.  He is an icon for culture, and has used his voice to inform people about legal challenges of black people especially in the prison system. The rapper has been instrumental in intensifying the conversation about criminal justice system. Though Elvis was born on January 8. 1935 into poverty, his combination of "black music" and lively performance were crucial in helping him achieve CULTURAL REVOLUTION ,  His natural talent combined by charm and good looks, made it easy for him to break down color barriers and awaken the youth to influence outside what was deemed "safe" Presely's  status as a cultural icon grew leading to a rabid fan base. Instead of edgy rhythm  and blues inspired material, he used romantic ballads in 1972 he released BURNING LOVE  his final entry on the top ten. He later died at his Graceland home on August 6, 1977. THE KING OF ROCK N' ROLL Elvis' legacy continues to live through his music, which has been loved and enjoyed for generations.

AKON FROM PRISON TO SUPERSTARDOM.

 Akon is an American Senegalese  song writer, producer and singer. Most times true talent won't be exposed to the world until it has experienced lots of struggle. Akon today is at a great deal in his career you can't believe that he was greatly inspired while doing time.  After being fired up he became a great voice to reckon with, and has made a remarkable impact to the world today. Now he owns two clothing lines KONVICT AND ALIAUNE, and real estate developments. He has won various awards like BET'S best producer of the year in 2008. He released his first hit single LOCKED UP   from his debut album TRAPPED in 2004, after returning from prison. He swore never to return to prison, so he used music as his escape from crime. He had been arrested for leading  a car theft ring and possession of a weapon. His  RnB style plus hip hop beats has produced several hit singles including LONELY.
