KENDRICK LAMAR'S CONTRIBUTION TO SOCIETY.


 Kendrick Lamar born June 17th 1987, California grew up in a city infamous for drugs, gang violence and rap and says that starstruck moment inspired his rap career. Lamar's music is not about partying and lavish spending, his music "challenges the status quo and motivates listeners to rethink our society's conformity," said compton's mayor  during a ceremony in which she awarded Lamar with a key to the city.

Lamar is a known for being a humble and generous, while staying connected to his supporters and community. He also gave $50,000  to his school's music program where the students see him as a role model and he takes that role seriously,

Though Lamar oftens gives back to the community and raises awareness of domestic issues his philanthropic work has not been limited to the U.S. Lamar was just like any kid on the block but he still rose from that dark place of violence, becoming a positive.

An example of his third studio album entitled to pimp a butterfly it tackles topics  like race and equality, yet still highlights African American culture and provides hope and resilience,

Kendrick Lamar's influence on hip hop is undeniable his innovative approach to music, profound storytelling and unwavering dedication to his craft not only elevated the genre but also inspired a new generation of artists.

it's so important to be famous but then it's so important to be good to people when you become important

Afeni Shakur influence on society.

 Afeni Shakur named executor of Tupac's  estate, channeled her grief into establishing the Tupac Amaru Shakur foundation, dedicated to supporting young artists. Her commitment was to philanthropy funding scholarships and programs of arts she,died 69 in her north California home. She was a former member of the black panther party. An artist and philanthropist, she was a also a savvy businesswoman establishing a trust to ensure that Tupac's work will always be protected. The black panthers were against racism and classism. After they disbanded in the 80's Afeni struggled to cope and began using crack cocaine . Tupac was resentful of this as a teen, and the mother Afeni kicked him out at 17 over their differences . She went to rehab two years later in 1990. She was arrested during police raids of  black panther's homes and named in the panther 21 trial in New York city. He is an American actor, producer and director, known for his dramatic roles on stage and screen, He has received numerous accolades including two academy awards, an actor award, two golden globe awards.The New York times named Denzel the greatest actor of the 21st century. In 2025, he received a Presidential medal of freedom. Denzel has spent time visiting wounded soldiers at fisher houses hospitals which provides housing for injured soldiers' families at little cost ot no cost, and made a large donation in the fisher house foundation.
